Geithner's Notes

Breaking a moment from the histories of American banking and fiscal policy, I caught this gem on the Internet. Someone snapped a photo of Timothy Geithner, banker extraordinaire, as he testified before congress. For those of you that may be unaware, Geithner oversaw the New York Federal Reserve before he was whisked away to D.C. to replace Hank Paulson as treasury secretary. What is interesting about this photograph is, among the barely decipherable scrawl are three clearly legible letters.

Geithner may have been distracted thinking about his address to America's real government, or maybe he needed to consult with the CFR on how to answer untidy questions posed to him by Congressional representatives who represent their constituents and not the empire. Regardless, if you follow the link above, you'll arrive at the CFR's main page and their coverage of the oratory address this private club received from someone who can hardly be said to have something better to do than write speeches and day-dream about them during Congressional Committee hearings. That someone, Tim Geithner.

Founders

"I sincerely believe... that Banking Establishments are More Dangerous than Standing Armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale."

Thomas Jefferson distilled the spirit of America in a single document, our Declaration of Independence. As the framework of the nation emerged from the ashes of the civil war, Jefferson saw the United State adopt their first Central Bank, and opposed the policy vigorously within the cabinet of President George Washington. He would later write of the Bank:

"[The] Bank of the United States... is one of the most deadly hostility existing, against the principles and form of our Constitution... An institution like this, penetrating by its branches every part of the Union, acting by command and in phalanx, may, in a critical moment, upset the government. I deem no government safe which is under the vassalage of any self-constituted authorities, or any other authority than that of the nation, or its regular functionaries. What an obstruction could not this bank of the United States, with all its branch banks, be in time of war! It might dictate to us the peace we should accept, or withdraw its aids. Ought we then to give further growth to an institution so powerful, so hostile?"

He then went on to propose abolition of the Central Bank, in favor of allowing the people's Department of the Treasury to offer the nation the same services as the banks:

"In order to be able to meet a general combination of the banks against us in a critical emergency, could we not make a beginning towards an independent use of our own money, towards holding our own bank in all the deposits where it is received, and letting the treasurer give his draft or note for payment at any particular place, which, in a well-conducted government, ought to have as much credit as any private draft or bank note or bill, and would give us the same facilities which we derive from the banks?"

Years later, when the nation was embattled in another war with Britain, Jefferson observed the private central banks bringing the nation to the brink of disaster. A year after the British captured Washington D.C. Jefferson told Virginia Senator John W. Eppes:

"Bank paper must be suppressed, and the circulating medium must be restored to the nation to whom it belongs. It is the only fund on which they can rely for loans; it is the only resource which can never fail them, and it is an abundant one for every necessary purpose. Treasury bills, bottomed on taxes, bearing or not bearing interest, as may be found necessary, thrown into circulation will take the place of so much gold and silver, which last, when crowded, will find an efflux into other countries, and thus keep the quantum of medium at its salutary level. Let banks continue if they please, but let them discount for cash alone or for treasury notes."

Worried by the Government's interest being usurped again by the Banks he went on to write:

"Instead of funding issues of paper on the hypothecation of specific redeeming taxes (the only method of anticipating, in a time of war, the resources of times of peace, tested by the experience of nations), we are trusting to tricks of jugglers on the cards, to the illusions of banking schemes for the resources of the war, and for the cure of colic to inflations of more wind."

Jefferson knew that financial sovereignty was necessary for the success of a functioning democracy. The Treasury should not borrow money from private banks to print money, it should simply print money, and allow the representatives of the people to control the economy for the common good, and not for the private interests of bankers.

His ideas lost to the incorruptible avarice of the Bankers, and America followed the disastrous Bank of the United States by establishing quickly the Second Bank of the United States. The scourge of the central banks would continue to cripple the interests of the people of the United States for generations, and eventually a champion emerged, to battle the evils of the Banking establishments on behalf of the people of the United States. That Champion, and the subject of our next post, was Andrew Jackson.

Our Economic Revolution

"The Refusal of George III to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from the clutches of the money manipulators was probably the PRIME CAUSE OF THE REVOLUTION."

in 1763, stunned by the exploding wealth of the British Empire's New World colonies, the administrators of the Bank of England, the true Monarch's of Britain, summoned the American diplomat Benjamin Franklin. Asked how the colonies had achieved such unprecedented economic success, Franklin answered:

"That is simple. In the Colonies we issue our own money.
It is called Colonial Scrip. We issue it in proper proportion
to the demands of trade and industry to make the products
pass easily from the producers to the consumers. In this manner,
creating for ourselves our own paper money, we control its
purchasing power, and we have no interest to pay no one."

The idea of this wealth escaping the taxation of the Crown and its coffers, became too much for the Empire to bear. Colonial Scrip was a truly revolutionary idea. It escaped the practice of usury that central banks had employed to usurp the sovereignty of European powers. In printing currency for the benefit of its citizenry, and guaranteeing that currency through the government itself, as opposed to guaranteeing it based on banking debt, the colonial governments were able to manage their economies independently for the public benefit, and the economies of the American colonies experienced wide-spread wealth unparalleled by their contemporary European societies.

Franklin himself oversaw the government program that issued Pennsylvania Scrip. Below is an example of Pennsylvania's Five Pound note, printed under the Auspices of Franklin and his business partner David Hall in 1760. (David Hall served in Delaware's Colonial Assembly from 1753 until the Revolution. His son David Hall Jr. fought in the Revolutionary War before becoming Governor of Delaware in 1802.)

These notes were printed by the government, six to sheet, 49,500 Pennsylvania Pounds in all. These were printed, debt free, and could be carefully disseminated to prevent the effects of inflation while fulfilling the financial needs of a sustainably growing economy. While the implementation of Colonial Scrip was imperfect, and the practice was swiftly crushed thoroughly by the Empire, this was the key to our revolution. Our wealth would parallel our abilities. Our intellect would become our primary resource. We were a nation with the potential to be free at last from the vestiges of European tribalism. A nation state to embody the Age of Reason. A Democracy with aspirations of a government for the people, by the people.

This money WAS the revolution. America had escaped the banks. Money, had escaped its archaic framework in notes issued by goldsmiths. Fractional Reserve Lending had led to a theoretical framework that enabled currency to be divorced from material standards, and developed currency into a utility to be employed by governments for internal and external relations. America, if not financially dependent, would inevitable become politically independent.

The American Nation was built on Revolutionary Ideas. Chief among these was liberty from tyrants, political and economic. The Bank of England was as perverse and tyrannical as George III. When the Government is in Debt to a Bank, that Bank is in Control of the Government.

Our Founding Fathers learned this lesson the Hard Way. America was born to free its people from control of the banks. The American dream was sold in the 50's as home ownership, and in a way, this is the true essence of the American dream. Our National Debt, owed to our Central Bank the Federal Reserve, means that what we in America call public, is not in fact public, but owned by our private bankers. Ownership of property is meaningless in a mortgaged country. The American dream is freedom and independence, not National Debt.

We have to reassert our control of our country's economy. To do this adequately, we should examine our history. Apocalypse Rex will begin its coverage of this global financial calamity, by remembering the words of America's founding fathers. The philosophy that crafted our nation state remains the grandest on Earth, and by returning to our nation's greatest political and economic philosophers, we can contextualize and begin to address the crisis facing both America and the World.

Re: The Anthrax Attacks of 2001

For those of you who may have missed it, a brief update on the Anthrax attacks. You may recall how the Bush administration tirelessly "kept us safe." Unless you count 9/11 of course. But after that they kept us safe. Unless you count the bioterrorism attacks of late 2001 against Bush's rivals in Congress. Weaponized, military-grade anthrax was sent through the mail, killing postal workers, and leaving several more with permanent respiratory disorders. This anthrax, was genetically modified to efficiently aerosolize, so the spores spread quickly through the air and into biological targets. The FBI closed the case, claiming a lone military scientist stole anthrax from a heavily fortified facility to which said scientist did not have clearance or access, and used that sample to grow a batch of anthrax in a bathtub, or something. The problem: the anthrax used in the attacks was weaponized, and could not have been grown in a mass culture using amateur equipment. Add to that the Bush White House began treating its staff with the anti-anthrx medication CIPRO weeks before the attacks, and the situation gets fishier. The accused lone, crazed scientist, Bruce Ivins, commited suicide before he could stand trial, and the FBI promptly closed the case before the evidence gathered by the bereau ever saw a courtroom. Case Closed? Not quite. The journal Nature embarked on an in depth analysis of the samples gathered by the FBI, and concluded that, not only was the anthrax genetically dissimilar to the batch Mr. Ivins allegedly stole, but it contained metals typically used in the process of weaponization of biological weapons. Meet Obama's New Nemesis

On the 16th of January the U.S Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control added to its Specially Designated Nationals List (or SDN), and one name in particular stuck out:

BIN LADEN, Sa'ad (a.k.a. ABBUD, Bin Muhammad Awad; a.k.a. ABUD, Sa'ad Muhammad Awad; a.k.a. ADBUD, Muhammad 'Awad; a.k.a. AWAD, Muhammad; a.k.a. BAABOOD, Sa'ad Muhammad; a.k.a. BIN LADEN, Sad; a.k.a. "AL-KAHTANE, Abdul Rahman"); DOB 1982; POB Saudi Arabia; nationality Saudi Arabia; Passport 520951 (Sudan); alt. Passport 530951 (Sudan) (individual) [SDGT]

Sa'ad was ostensibly added by executive order, although whether the order came from Paulson or Bush is unknown. What is known is that only 1 day after Sa'ad Bin Laden received SDN status western media outlets began reporting that the 27 year old SBL had been released from Iran, where he had been held under house arrest since 2001, under the authority of Iran's Qods Force.

The Long War Journal Reports:

Sa'ad bin Laden is designated as Osama's heir. He is an operational commander who was involved in the 2003 bombings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Sa'ad made "key decisions for al Qaeda and was part of a small group of al Qaeda members that was involved in managing the terrorist organization from Iran," according to the US Treasury. "As of September 2008, it was possible that Sa'ad bin Laden was no longer in Iranian custody."

Western media outlets are now reporting SBL is likely inside PAKISTAN, in the frontier region border AFGHANISTAN. Note that this theater is EXACTLY where the New World Orderites intend for the GWOT to inflame in 2009.

The Department of Treasury has recently held-up the congress of the United States to the tune of at least TWO TRILLION DOLLARS for unknown purposes and is accountable to no one. The fact that they designated a new terrorist scion moments before the media began to report that SBL had reached Pakistan is very troubling. Not being a strong believer in Jungian Synchronicity, I would imagine that these reports are in fact part of a coordinated effort to legitimize SBL as a patsy, before they claim to have killed his father,(UBL, now long dead -see last post) and attribute a retaliatory act to SBL. ABC has gone so far as to establish SBL as a likely agent for delivery of a Iranian-made nuclear weapon, attributing the statement to outgoing Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell.

Be prepared for more about SBL in the coming months and years, Obama has a new nemesis, one younger and more vibrant than UBL, and this one, crucially, is alive to stand in a kangaroo court of 'justice'.

PSA: Usama Bin Laden Dead as Disco

America's Most-Wanted Terrorist Deceased

Usama Bin Laden, aka Osama Bin Laden, died years ago. Videotape inconsistencies, various media reports and the reports of current and former regional heads of state indicate UBL died in late 2001 or early 2002. UBL's seeming reliance on unverifiable audiotapes to discuss current events, while releasing much more general statements on video implies, perhaps, the few tapes issued by UBL after the attacks of 9.11.01 were prerecorded or recorded shortly thereafter, projecting likely global events. But don't take my word for it:


Hammad Karzai, the current President of Afghanistan, went public with his doubts about UBL's livelihood in 2002.

Gen. Pervez Musharraf, former Military Dictator and President of Pakistan, made his statement in early 2002.

Benazir Bhutto, first and only female Prime Minister of Pakistan, made her statement in 2007 in an interview with David Frost. She specifically implicated Briton Omar Said Sheik in UBL's murder. View the whole interview here.

Each of these persons, as a so-called friendly head of a state, was able to receive information directly from Western Intelligence Agencies, in addition to the intelligence communities of their respective nations.

L'Est Republicain, a leading French Newspaper, cited an intelligence source in Saudi Arabia who claimed UBL had died of typhoid in their report in 2006.

Sanjay Gupta, President Obama's reported first choice for Surgeon General, went on national television in 2002 to agree with Pakistani Dictator Pervez Musharraf that UBL was likely dead or dying.

Al Majalla, a London-based newsmagazine, reported in 2002 it was in possession of UBL's Last Will and Testament, stating they too believed UBL to be dead or dying.

Bruce Lawrence, a Duke University Professor who had researched and written about UBL extensively, also went public in 2006 with his belief that the audiotapes accredited to UBL were forged, and UBL himself may be deceased.

Taliban Officials also reportedly attended UBL's funeral in late December, 2001.

This list is partial compilation of the myriad sources who can read the writing on the wall. UBL is a phantom used by the New World Order to inspire fear, hate, and violence. Already a dead visage, a literal shadow in the cave, UBL's mythology is about to reach the limits of credulity. Fortunately for us, the N.W.O. has already appointed his successor. The U.S. backed Georgian sneak attack on Russia and still shadowy identity of the attackers in the Mumbai Massacre stand as ill omens. These event intimate that the policies of Obama, chiefly his intention of escalating the United States presence in Afghanistan, have been shaped to correspond to an inflamation in Asia before such instability began. The U.S. bombed Somalia almost exactly a year ago, before the press began warning of the grave dangers of Somali pirates and very recently China annouced its warships would patrol Somalia's costal waters. The GWOT will last 100 years, and Obama stands poised to open new and more dangerous theaters in that war in service of a Globalist Agenda.

2. Biden's Breakfast with the Money Man

Vice President Elect Joe Biden had Breakfast with the Cheif financier of the 9/11 attacks on September 13th, 2001. This "money-man", Pakistani ISI General Mahmud Ahmed, was not brought to justice even though he directly ordered Omar Saeed Sheikh, the alleged assassin of Daniel Pearl and the man Benezar Bhutto believed Murdered Osama bin Laden, to wire $100,000 to alleged lead hijacker Mohammed Atta in the summer of 2001. General Ahmed met with Senator Bob Graham and Representative Porter Goss, then Chairs of the House and Senate Intelligence Comittees ON THE MORNING of September 11th, and then met with Biden, in his then official capacity as Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations committee, before jetsetting back to Pakistan to 'retire.' These facts are beyond frightening.

As we enter a new phase of the New World Order, the most clear and present danger posed by Obama, is the very fact that he is a very charismatic world leader at a time when Global Governance can be realistically achieved. Obama may well began his career as President of the United States and end it as Chancellor of the Global Federation.

The End of Palestine

Palestine, from an Osolo-1967-2-State-Solution perspective, has been obliterated. Israel's new "offensive against Hamas," the democratically elected government of Gaza, a military operation that may be more aptly characterized as a massacre, clearly underlines the fact that peace and harmony are not on the agenda.

Rocket assaults from Gaza into Israel, although clearly acts of hateful violence, cannot justify the sustained aerial bombardment and ground invasion Israel unleashed. As of now the operation's official deaths number 910 Palestinians, 292 of them children, and 13 Israelis, 10 of them soldiers. These numbers do not reflect a conflict, they indicate something very close to genocide.

Israel's economic and physical blockade of Gaza prior to and following the election of Hamas, effectively left Israel in control of nearly all borders, airspace, and costal waters. Although Israel withdrew its illegal bases and settlements in Gaza, the state was never sovereign, and any government the Gazans elected, beyond the Fatah party sponsored by the United States and Israel, was doomed to failure, violent or otherwise.

The policies of George W. Bush's administration have encouraged Israeli deviation from the road map to peace and violation of UN Security Council Resolutions. The illegal settlements in the West Bank were encouraged to remain. The West Bank will never be an independent state, and although there are no longer settlers in Gaza, Gazan achievment of soveriegnty is phenomenally unlikely.

Hamas, the democratically elected government of Gaza, is considered a terrorist organization. As its terriotory was invaded, this 'terrorist state' managed to inflict only 13 fatalities on the enemy, killing 3 civilians. The domcratically elected government of Israel, somehow not considered a terrorist state has killed 910 Palestinians, unknown numbers of whom were actually Hamas militants, including 292 children.

Which is the Terrorist State?
